    2008 - 2009 Workplan Goals
    1. Investigate measures for protection of on-reserve archaeological sites.
    2. Promote the understanding and use of Mi'kmaw place names throughout Nova Scotia.
    3. Follow up on recommendations from report on options to secure Mi'kmaw language in Nova Scotia.
    4. Establish strategy for the protection and presentation of the Bedford Barrens.
    5. To develop a plan to transport the Mi'kmaw regalia from Australia to Nova Scotia.
    6. To enhance the Mi'kmaw presence on highway signage, the Nova Scotia Doer's and Dreamers Guide and Nova Scotia maps
    7. Implementation of Strategic Action Plan – Mi’kmaq Cultural Tourism Network (MCTN)
