Steering Committee

The purpose of the steering committee is to provide organizational direction and operational support to the Tripartite Forum. As well, to focus on the overall relationship between the provincial government, the federal government and the Nova Scotia Mi'kmaq within each of the Tripartite Forum working committees.

Workplan Goals
1- To assist in the timely and effective resolution of mutual concern related to the operation of the Tripartite Forum.

2- To effectively support the planning, budgeting, accountability and administration of the Tripartite Forum.

3- To improve communications and linkages among the committees.

4- To effectively oversee and support the Project Management approach of the Forum (as per the recommendations made by Saint Mary's University's Business Development Centre in 2005).
